We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as HK Application Simplification Tech Lead .

Principal responsibilities
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders, architecture and engineering teams, to identify opportunities and collect user requirement of application and process improvement.
  • Business Alignment: Work closely with business users to understand their needs and ensure that technology solutions are aligned with business goals, delivering measurable benefits thru application demise/consolidation and process simplification.
  • Reporting and Advocacy: Establish effective reporting mechanisms to communicate progress and outcomes of simplification initiatives to stakeholders, and advocate for necessary resources and funding.
  • Project and Resource Management: Oversee Project management, funding arrangements and resource management to ensure that projects are adequately supported and aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Process Simplification and meet Future State Architecture: Identify and implement best practices for process simplification, ensuring that technology solutions are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Ensure that products and services are supported by the appropriate architectures, meeting customer, regulatory, and compliance requirements in alignment with the Future State Architecture.
  • Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions during application consolidation and process simplification initiatives.
  • Performance Measurement: Develop metrics to evaluate the success of simplification initiatives, focusing on both quantitative and qualitative outcomes to align with Group CIO 8+1 priority and Value Stream OKR
Requirements
  • University degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Information System or related disciplines.
  • Minimal 15+ years' experience of IT Programme/Project Management.
  • Experience in managing IT project in a complex environment, preferably on a regional or global scale.
  • Manage a diverse team of IT professionals in delivering growth, regulatory, risk & control and efficiency changes.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage in a dynamic and matrix environment
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
