As the Director of Retail Education, APAC you will be entrusted with ownership and execution of the APAC retail education strategy. This client-facing role involves managing a team and partnering closely with Sales, Marketing and our clients to build and deliver world-class education. Your responsibilities will span curriculum development, original content creation, and delivering comprehensive training to retail traders and our broker partners.

This position will report to the Executive Director of Education & Retail Marketing (Chicago).
Broker/Channel Education Deliver education together with broker and channel partners to support developing traders, enhancing their skills and increasing their understanding of our markets.
- Create and deliver training via broker-hosted educational events to retail traders via in-person events/conferences or digitally delivered events such as webinars or virtual classrooms
- Deliver training to third party partners, including broker clients, to ensure their staff are fully up to speed on CME marketsWork with regional Account Teams to create educational components of our account plans and
- Understand our top client accounts and their go-to-market educational strategies and communicate learnings with the global team
- Work with partners to create content to support trader development and product education
- Collaborate with other Retail Educators on presentation and collateral used at events and in client communications
Direct to Retail: Create comprehensive educational content and programs to support retail trader development and enhancement of futures market knowledge.
- Responsible for outlining and delivering APAC retail educational strategy including evergreen curriculum as well as in-the-moment learning for direct to retail activities
- Direct on-demand online content and educational programming for retail and localization of global assets
- Manage a direct team to support the execution of content and delivery
- Help identify, vet and manage third party trainers and content writers
- Partner with Retail Marketing to promote educational content and resources
- Partner with Digital Education to ensure retail educational needs are met and delivered via the CME Group Trading Simulator and localized websites
- Work with Sales, Research and Product Development and Business Line Management teams to develop above stated content and/or to help validate curriculum
- Be the expert in regional educational activities of partners, customers and competitors
Retail Business & People Leadership - Participate as a member of regional retail leadership and account teams
- Help define business outcomes for educational activities and work across the retail team to track and analyze ROI on activities
- Build and develop the Retail Education Manager who supports content development and training
What We're Looking For: We need a proven marketing leader with a passion for financial markets and a deep, intuitive understanding of the retail trader.
- Experience: 10-15+ years of trading and training experience, with significant time spent in FinTech, online brokerage, investment education, or a closely related field. Direct experience with derivatives, crypto and prediction markets preferred.
- Trader Mindset: You understand the voice, mindset and the overall unique persona of the active trader.
- Data-Driven: Proficiency in marketing analytics and a track record of using data to iterate on activities and allocate budgets effectively.
- Effective Communicator: You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can uniquely convey information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Passion for Trading: You're curious, adaptable and excited to learn about the evolving world of retail trading and investing.
Education: - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Math, Finance or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Software Requirements: Proficiency with Google suite and Salesforce
- Language proficiency (spoken): English & Mandarin
