Our client, a leading international bank with a strong global footprint, is seeking a candidate to join its Global Transaction Banking Department in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will support the growth of the bank's transaction banking business, provide high‑quality customer support, and assist in driving product adoption across key markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the expansion of transaction banking business in Hong Kong and other regions connected to Hong Kong-based clients.
- Promote transaction banking products to customers, including handling assigned clients or cases independently.
- Drive adoption and usage of fund transfer services and providing customer support, including system-related matters.
- Assist in implementing new services, system changes, and product enhancements.
- Deliver customer support for transaction banking solutions, including system setup and maintenance for cheque printing, and other banking platforms.
- Execute marketing and promotional activities for transaction banking services-either working alongside senior marketing staff or acting as project lead for selected customers/products.
- Work closely with internal teams, especially front office and operations, to ensure smooth delivery and support of transaction banking services.
- Complete compliance-related tasks in accordance with HKMA regulations and internal policies, working independently with minimal guidance.
- Prepare CMS transaction reports, business reports, and maintain accurate customer data.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to strengthen transaction banking sales initiatives, based on insights from customer needs and market conditions.
- Develop and execute plans for customer support, transaction banking promotions, and service implementation.
Requirements
- Experience in the banking industry with solid understanding of general banking operations.
- Strong knowledge of transaction banking products, services, and related systems/tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Highly organized, independent, and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to propose ideas, exercise sound judgment, and drive initiatives based on customer needs and business priorities.
- Strong planning and execution skills, with the ability to manage customer support, promotional activities, and service rollouts.
