We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of Premier Elite and Customer Portfolio Management.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, this senior leadership role is accountable for the customer proposition and growth strategy of HSBC Premier Elite.
• Own and execute the end-to-end strategy for Premier Elite proposition-positioning it as the leading, most trusted wealth partner for upper affluent/HNW clients in Hong Kong.
• Spearhead the development and launch of innovative, differentiated client propositions, integrating insights from data analytics, market trends, and client feedback.
• Drive end-to-end customer acquisition, relationship deepening, and portfolio management-ensuring superior client experience and measurable business outcomes (e.g. customer growth, NPS, TRB growth, portfolio profitability, etc.).
• Lead the Retirement Proposition of HSBC HK and drive the proposition development with close collaboration with other line of business such as insurance and pension teams
• Lead cross-segment initiatives to deepen overall customer portfolios, targeting sustainable growth in TRB, deposits, and fee-based income.
• Champion a client-centric culture across touchpoints, embedding voice-of-customer insights into proposition design, service delivery, and digital enablement.
• Liaise with key stakeholders including Group counterparts, Distribution, Wealth and Retail Products, Marketing, Data Analytics, Transformation, Legal and Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence and outcomes delivery.
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing team-fostering innovation, collaboration, and end-to-end ownership.
• Promote an inclusive, performance-driven culture that values integrity, agility, and client obsession.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with business studies, marketing or related discipline is preferred
• Exceptional leadership and proven experience preferably in retail banking, wealth management, or luxury retail business
• Extensive understanding of Hong Kong's retail and wealth management markets, customer dynamics and competitive landscape
• Strategic mindset, commercial acumen, analytical skills, project management skills and a proven ability to influence and mobilize senior stakeholders cross functions
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal skills, communication and presentation skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
