We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a
Senior Business Development Manager I.
In this role you will: - Designing and implementing onboarding program to activate new sales force,
- Providing post-onboarding support via daily and on-site coaching and development,
- Monitoring and supporting marginal performers, identifying specific areas for improvement, and offering personalised guidance,
- Integrating up-to-date market insights and product knowledge into training content
- Act as a SME to provide expertise in product, sales skills, and market insights through coaching tailored to the needs of different channels
- Champion a culture of sales excellence, driving quality sales activities and embedding customer centricity within the frontline team
- Collaborate closely with the team, channel owners, and stakeholders to deliver training and coaching initiatives
- Support achievement of the HSBC vision, values, goals and culture in personal behavior, actions and decision making.
To be successful you will need: - Strong commercial thinking and business acumen - able to diagnose performance gaps, identify market trends, highlight key compliance and risk issues that could impact business performance, ability to distil complex business and customer scenarios into simple, sensible and insight led coaching
- Passionate about people development, in addition to taking independent initiatives to achieve the required results
- Strong communication, organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Strong problem-solving skills for wide range of problems
- Good command of spoken and written Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua) and English
- Possess Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination Paper, including Paper 1, 3 and 5
- Previous experiences in coaching / sales of wealth insurance
- University degree in Business or related discipline
