This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with solid remittance and payment operations experience looking to further develop their career within a reputable financial institution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform checking, approval, and system release of various payment transactions within delegated authority.
  • Support the Team Head in overseeing daily monitoring and control activities.
  • Conduct case investigations, and handle amendments, cancellations, and tracers with correspondent banks.
  • Verify dealer slips for FX-related transactions.
  • Report funding movements according to currency cut-off times.
  • Monitor daily transaction progress to ensure timely processing across cut-off schedules.
  • Prepare and review regulatory reports for internal management and regulators on time.
  • Participate in projects, including system enhancements and UAT execution.
  • Handle ad hoc assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma holder with around 8 years of hands-on remittance operations experience; degree holders with less experience will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of remittance channels and RMB cross-border payment processing.
  • Familiar with AML/CFT standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to exercise sound judgment in transaction flow and risk control.
  • Team-oriented with strong communication and customer service mindset.
  • Able to multitask, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Good command of English and Chinese.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with VBA, Excel Macro, or Alteryx is an advantage.
