Our client, a leading international bank with a strong global presence, is seeking an experienced professional to join its Operations Department under Corporate Payment Services. Key Responsibilities
- Perform checking, approval, and system release of various payment transactions within delegated authority.
- Support the Team Head in overseeing daily monitoring and control activities.
- Conduct case investigations, and handle amendments, cancellations, and tracers with correspondent banks.
- Verify dealer slips for FX-related transactions.
- Report funding movements according to currency cut-off times.
- Monitor daily transaction progress to ensure timely processing across cut-off schedules.
- Prepare and review regulatory reports for internal management and regulators on time.
- Participate in projects, including system enhancements and UAT execution.
- Handle ad hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
- Diploma holder with around 8 years of hands-on remittance operations experience; degree holders with less experience will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of remittance channels and RMB cross-border payment processing.
- Familiar with AML/CFT standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to exercise sound judgment in transaction flow and risk control.
- Team-oriented with strong communication and customer service mindset.
- Able to multitask, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Good command of English and Chinese.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with VBA, Excel Macro, or Alteryx is an advantage.
