Job Overview
The Finance Manager plays a key role in managing the firm's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and supporting financial planning. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of financial principles and a strong interest in financial analysis.
You will report to the CFO and collaborate with team members across departments to support the financial health of the organization.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting and Analysis:

- Contribute to the preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, variances, and recommend improvements.
- Support the budgeting process and develop financial models to assist in decision-making.
Cash Management and Treasury Operations:

- Continuously evaluate and optimize cash flow and liquidity strategies by seeking more efficient, cost-effective treasury solutions that drive cost savings and improve profitability.
- Participate in cash management processes, including forecasting and monitoring cash balances.
Compliance and Internal Controls:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, facilitating timely reporting.
- Maintain internal controls to mitigate financial risks and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate in the annual audit process, working with external auditors and preparing necessary documentation.
- Provide documentation and support for the onboarding processes of exchanges and brokerages, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvements within financial operations to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist in automating reporting processes and enhancing financial systems.
Investor Relations Support:

- Prepare financial materials for investor communications and reporting.
- Manage onboarding processes for new investors and maintain a comprehensive, well-organized investor database.
Requirements

- 5–8 years of progressive experience as a Finance Manager within buy-side firms, with exposure to crypto financial services considered a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to solve problems effectively.
- Proficient in financial modeling and analysis, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software; proficiency in Python or equivalent programming competency is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA designation is a plus.
