Job Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining information security strategies, policies and guidelines
- Provide security guidance and support to business and technical teams
- Participate in risk assessment reviews for new and existing IT initiatives by evaluating security architecture and conducting basic threat modelling
- Support cybersecurity controls assessment and help troubleshoot security issues across different technologies.
- Assist in security incident response and investigation activities
- Conduct research on emerging security threats and technology trends, including AI, cloud, big data and mobile
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Systems or related disciplines
- 1-3 years' experience in information technology, information security, risk management, compliance or IT audit (banking/financial experience preferred), 5 years or above will be considered as Assistant Manager
- Possession of or willingness to pursue professional certifications (e.g., CISM, CRISC, CISSP)
- Basic understanding of security architecture, regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices
- Good analytical, communication and report-writing skills, with a strong desire to learn and grow in cybersecurity
