Job Summary: Job Duties: Responsibilities: - Drive the growth of gold derivative products by enhancing existing products and developing new offerings, including but not limited to exchange-traded contracts and innovative OTC solutions
- Conduct targeted market research on international and regional gold derivatives ecosystem; monitor competitor offerings and analyze macroeconomic trends that could impact product development
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to assess demand from institutional clients and retail investors, and accelerate the growth of the client base
- Formulate and implement measurable initiatives to ensure successful product launches by partnering with cross-functional teams, including platforms, operations, legal, and risk
- Work closely with other product team members to drive cross-sell synergies across the product portfolio
- Track post-launch performance metrics such as trading volume, open interest, client retention, and profit margins
- Analyze market and regulatory feedbacks to refine product design, promotional strategies, and incentive schemes
Job requirements: - To excel in this role, candidates should possess a strong blend of financial acumen, product expertise and leadership capabilities
- Bachelor's degree or above preferred in Finance, Economics and Business Administration
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the gold/metal/commodity industry, with a proven record in product development, trading or sales with well-established institutional network; Prior roles in global markets in banks or brokerage firms are preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of the global economic and regional regulatory environment, gold/metal/commodity market and strong knowhow on derivatives
- Uphold strong sense of integrity
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented and strong spirit of teamwork and collaboration
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to articulate well- structured storylines
- Overseas travel is required
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
