Role Summary
A specialized Settlement Operations role focusing on securities transactions, corporate actions, and market operations across Hong Kong, US, and China stock markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for activities including daily settlement operation, including securities, corporate action, client fund transfers, IPO, placement, TRS and other CCASS operations
- Perform account opening in completing KYC review and related documentation
- Monitor and ensure the smoothness of settlements, especially corporate action for HK, US and China Stock Market
- Liaise with trading counterparties to resolve any settlement-related issues efficiently
- Client, Exchange, and broker trade and position reconciliation
- Perform system UAT and raise changed request for system implementation
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as assigned
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Economics, or related business discipline
- 2-3 years of settlement operational experience in securities or brokerage firms
- Strong understanding of settlement processes in Hong Kong and international markets
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in MS Excel, with preferred knowledge of Excel VBA, Python, and AI technologies
- Trilingual proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
