Assistant Dealing Manager (Night Shift, US Trading)

Your new role
- Assist in managing day-to-day global stock trading activities, with a key focus on the U.S. market, including executing trades, monitoring orders, and responding to client trade-related enquiries.
- Oversee clients' trading positions and risk levels; carry out forced liquidation (margin call actions) when required to ensure proper risk control
- Keep track of market movements, trading limits, and margin requirements to maintain compliance with internal risk and control standards
- Provide customers with clear explanations of equity and derivatives products, offering timely market updates and product information
- Prepare and deliver daily market summaries, highlighting major developments and trends
- Utilise financial systems and analytical tools to gather, review, and interpret market data
- Contribute to various ad-hoc tasks such as UAT testing for trading systems, performance reviews, risk analysis, and market benchmarking exercises.
- Position requires mainly middle and night shift schedules.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Investment, or related fields (preferred)
- Possession of SFC RA1 and RA2 licences
- At least 1 year of practical experience in securities and futures order execution
- Solid understanding of U.S. stock markets and hands-on experience with margin call handling
- Knowledge of securities and futures trading platforms and systems
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively with team members
- Experience independently managing CD and Algo orders is an advantage.
- Prior exposure to trade surveillance is beneficial.
- Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mature, quick-thinking, and capable of performing well under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with strong initiative and accuracy
- Proficient in Mandarin and English; good command of Cantonese
- Willing to work on Hong Kong public holidays and perform shift duties
