A leading global investment bank is expanding its Front Office technology team in Hong Kong and is seeking a C# Developer to join its regional Rates & FX technology group. This is a rare opportunity to become the first dedicated Orchestrade developer in Hong Kong, working closely with global teams across Europe and APAC.
This role sits at the heart of Front Office trading, supporting position‑keeping, pricing, and risk workflows across multiple asset classes.
The Role
As a C# Developer within the Front Office Post‑Trade / Risk technology team, you will:
- Develop new features and enhancements for the banks Orchestrade platform
- Work closely with Business Analysts, global developers, and Front Office stakeholders
- Participate in agile ceremonies, technical discussions, and release cycles
- Support non‑regression testing and contribute to continuous improvement
- Assist with incident resolution (P1/P2) when needed to minimise trading impact
- Collaborate with global teams in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, and Paris
- Engage with the wider Orchestrade developer community and vendor when required
This is a hands‑on development role with strong visibility and ownership. You will be the key developer in Hong Kong, partnering with senior developers in Europe.
What Theyre Looking For
Must‑have requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in C# development
- Experience in Front Office, trading, or risk management systems (any asset class)
- Strong communication skills — you will interact with traders, support, and global dev teams
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast‑paced environment
- Fluent English; Chinese language skills are a plus due to user interaction
Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience with Orchestrade or CrossAsset / CrossOne
- Exposure to post‑trade workflows, pricing, or risk engines
- Application support experience in a trading environment
