About Us

Welkin Links Capital is a leading investment management firm specializing in private equity, private credit, and real estate across both primary and secondary markets. The firm combines institutional‑grade asset management capabilities with strong deal execution and a full‑cycle value‑creation approach, consistently delivering alpha across market cycles. Operating across major financial hubs including Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, and Singapore, Welkin Links maintains a global capital network spanning North America, Asia‑Pacific, and Europe — enabling the firm to target high‑growth, policy‑supported sectors with long‑term value creation potential.

About the Role

• Work directly with Partners and Directors to support the origination and evaluation of high‑quality, opportunistic, and special‑situations investment opportunities across Welkin Links private credit, private equity and real estate strategies.

• Participate in all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, credit and equity due diligence, financial and valuation analysis, preparation of investment materials, transaction execution, deal structuring, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.

• Develop and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO, DCF, and real‑estate‑related analyses; perform three‑statement modeling and clearly communicate assumptions, sensitivities, and outputs to internal stakeholders.

• Apply strong analytical judgment and clear communication to assess complex risk‑return profiles, support structuring decisions, and enhance visibility of traditional, opportunistic, and special‑situations investments across the platform.

• Contribute to idea generation, proactively identifying market dislocations, thematic trends, distressed or transitional situations, and unconventional angles that may lead to differentiated sourcing.

• Provide cross‑business support, including preparing marketing materials, investor presentations, and ad‑hoc research or analytics across strategies.

• Travel as required to support due diligence, market assessment, and deal execution.

Key Requirements

• 1–2 years of relevant experience, with openness to candidates from private credit, private equity, investment banking, consulting, corporate finance, rating agencies, Big 4 Deals teams, or other investment‑adjacent roles.

• Experience building and working with financial models and valuations, including LBO, DCF, and three‑statement models, with the ability to refine existing frameworks and develop new ones as needed. This includes the capability to research, clearly articulate, justify, and defend model assumptions to senior team members.

• Strong analytical and due‑diligence capabilities, including reviewing financial statements, assessing risk, and supporting both credit and equity investment evaluations.

• Clear communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing investment materials and creating investor presentations for internal and external stakeholders, while demonstrating consistent delivery, effective time‑management, and the ability to handle urgent or time‑critical requests without compromising quality.

• Business‑level proficiency in Mandarin (Putonghua) and English, with the ability to conduct research, analyze documents, communicate with stakeholders, and prepare all materials—presentations, memos, and analyses—in both languages.

• Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including founders, banks, lenders, advisors, lawyers, accountants, and other deal‑related parties.

• Ability to contribute across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and research to execution support, structuring, documentation, and post‑investment monitoring.

• Interest in opportunistic and special‑situations investing, with the ability to assess complex, time‑sensitive, or unconventional opportunities with agility and sound commercial judgment.

• Additional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, CA, CPA, or a Masters degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related fields are advantageous.
