Job Responsibilities:
• To be involved in a wide range of corporate finance assignments, with a particular focus on FA, IFA and related transactions, including Listing Rules and/or Takeovers Code related transactions, M&A and fund-raising exercises and other finance advisory transactions, as well as US IPO projects;
• Manage day-to-day execution and actively participate in due diligence processes for various transactions
• Work independently to prepare and draft transaction documents such as announcements, circulars, IFA opinion letters and checklist and forms;
• Assist in potential deal pitching, including preparing pitch books, business proposals, market research and valuation analysis;
• Responsible for organizing and analysing sophisticated financial data and building financial models for valuation purpose;
• Conduct company/industry research (i.e. evaluate comparable companies financial performance/industry and market trends, etc.);
• Support senior team members daily work, project document filings and documentations;
• Liaise with other professional parties and communicate with relevant authorities, such as SFC and Hong Kong Stock Exchange; and
• Perform other job duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
• Degree holder in Business, Accounting, or Finance or related discipline;
• with at least 2 years of relevant experience in Corporate Finance in investment bank/corporate finance firm/Type 6 licensed corporations with solid corporate finance transaction execution capability;
• Familiarity with Listing Rules, Takeovers Code, and other related regulatory requirements is essential;
• Experience in IPOs, M&A and related transactions, including Listing Rules and/or Takeovers Code related transactions;
• Possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills;
• Be self-motivated, responsible, a strong team player, and willing to travel occasionally;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese and fluency in Putonghua is essential.
