Key Responsibilities: - Monitoring and advising on regulatory compliance matters for an SFC-licensed entity (Type 1 & 4).
- Advising on entity and individual licensing and registration requirements, as well as other compliance-related matters in Hong Kong.
- Preparing license applications, conducting regulatory filings, and coordinating with local regulators as necessary.
- Handling day-to-day regulatory matters, including inquiries, surveys, and inspections.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory developments across the region and advising on their impact on the business.
- Developing and implementing policies, procedures, and controls in response to regulatory requirements and business changes.
- Ensuring employees' adherence to corporate governance and compliance policies and addressing related queries.
- Designing, coordinating, and delivering compliance training.
- Developing, maintaining, and testing compliance processes to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Preparing compliance reports for senior management, regulators, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinating with business units and other internal teams on new initiatives.
- Managing stakeholders across regional and global offices.
Person specification: - Bachelor's degree or above.
- 3+ years of legal, compliance, or internal audit experience within an asset manager or other financial institution.
- Knowledge and experience with SFC-licensed entities is a plus.
- Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently, manage tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, drive consensus, and influence outcomes.
- Strong analytical, issue-spotting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a multi-responsibility environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with individuals at all levels, including senior management.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
