A leading global investment bank is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the implementation and evolution of its ION Trading platform for Fixed Income products (Govies and Credit). This is a hands-on, hybrid role bridging front-office trading desks and technology teams. The successful candidate will help deliver a best-in-class electronic trading ecosystem across the Asia region, aligning with global platform standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementation & Change Management:
- Lead the transition from internal legacy tools to ION, conducting functional gap analysis and leveraging native ION features. Design and implement D2D and D2C eTrading workflows, including Market Gateways, Pricing, Contribution, RFQ, Tiering, and Runs.
- Technical Integration:
- Manage integration with supporting systems (Credit Check, Vetting/Permissioning, STP) to ensure full ecosystem connectivity and support platform reliability.
- Stakeholder & Regional Management:
- Act as the key interface between Trading, Development, and Global Technology teams. Capture specific Asia market needs and ensure alignment with worldwide implementation standards.
- Support & Continuous Improvement:
- Define support standards for monitoring, alerting, and documentation. Provide L2 technical support in collaboration with ION teams and influence platform evolutions and customizations based on business needs.
Required Skills & Experience
- Functional Expertise:
- Strong understanding of Fixed Income products (Cash Bonds, Derivatives, Repo), D2D/D2C market dynamics, and electronic trading protocols.
- Hands-on experience connecting to major trading venues (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, BondVision, MarketAxess, Eurex, Brokertec, etc.).
- Technical Proficiency:
- In-depth knowledge of ION MarketView or related components. Able to troubleshoot and analyze logs, execute SQL queries, and collaborate closely with developers.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation or data analysis is a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Confident communicating with front-office users. Agile mindset and strong stakeholder management in a global, fast-paced environment.
