Managing Director China Corporates
Overview
We are hiring a Head of China Corporates to lead our coverage of major Chinese state‑owned (SOE) and privately owned enterprises (POE). The ideal candidate has 18+ years of experience in international banking with strong leadership and deep China market expertise.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead SOE and POE coverage teams and drive overall China corporate strategy.
- Manage senior relationships with major Chinese corporates and government-linked entities.
- Originate and execute financing and capital markets opportunities across product lines.
- Provide insight on China market trends, regulatory developments, and client needs.
- Ensure strong governance, risk management, and portfolio oversight.
Key Requirements
- 18+ years of corporate or investment banking experience in global financial institutions.
- Proven leadership in SOE/POE coverage.
- Strong knowledge of China corporate landscape and regulatory environment.
- Demonstrated track record in origination and client management.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
