Job Description

• Supporting the firms international operations and expansion, including but not limited to preparing relevant documentation, coordinating with various departments to collect outstanding information, reviewing commercial, operational and service agreements, advising on relevant legal and regulatory matters and liaising with and supervising external legal counsels

• Reporting to senior management on development of the firms international expansion and responding to questions

• Attending internal committee meetings and providing comments from legal and regulatory perspectives

• Attending meetings with overseas regulators and preparing meeting notes

• Conducting research on the legal and regulatory environments of overseas markets

• Drafting internal work reports and external reports to regulators

• Handling ad-hoc projects or tasks assigned from time to time

Skills and Abilities

• Solid legal knowledge

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills

• Attentive to details

• Self-motivated and able to work independently

• Positive working attitude and strong team spirit

• Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in law from law school

• Legal qualification in Hong Kong, the UK, the US or other common law jurisdictions

• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience

• Overseas working experience is a plus
