Our client, a leading financial securities firm, is looking for an experienced professional to join their Trade Support team. In this dynamic role, you will lead and contribute to a range of initiatives, including project management, system review and implementation, process automation, and collaboration with regional teams on key trade operations projects.
The Role
- Critically assess and refine existing operational workflows to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Identify priority areas for efficiency gains and implement practical, high-impact solutions.
- Introduce strategic enhancements that streamline management and coordination across cross-functional operations.
- Maintain, update, and standardize documentation for existing systems, products, and workflows to ensure transparency.
- Design and analyze robust business process models to enable smooth product launches and strategic transformation initiatives.
- Partner with operations managers to capture and formalize new process requirements in alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with technology teams to convert operational needs into efficient, technology-driven system improvements.
- Proactively engage with project teams to guarantee timely execution and successful delivery of key projects.
- Secure necessary approvals from operations leadership to implement and institutionalize process improvements.
Your Profile
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Trade Operations, with direct experience managing projects.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels of management.
- Consulting background is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in process transformation is highly preferred. Candidates should, at a minimum, be able to review operational processes and independently automate manual tasks to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and drive process transformation.
- Strong knowledge of financial products within the Equity Derivatives and FICC business lines.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks across various business and departmental initiatives.
- Strong program/project management skills.
- Control-oriented and risk-aware approach to process management.
