Job Overview: Provide support to the enterprise risk management, include risk appetite, risk limit, risk reporting and risk exposure. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Enterprise Risk and Reporting
- Design, implement, and manage AI solutions that enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of risk reporting
- Automate risk reporting and monitoring processes to improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain systematic risk data aggregation from multiple sources (defining, gathering and processing risk data according to the risk reporting requirements);
- Conduct risk data mining, analytics and perform scenario analysis;
- Develop and manage regular and ad hoc risk reports for Senior Management, Parent Company and external parties;
- Coordinate with various teams within the Risk Management Department to complete risk management reports;
- Enhance and implement data quality control processes;
- Assist in the implementation of internal control procedures in order to ensure data accuracy for reporting.
- Assist in trading Book Management and Risk Limit Management system.
Risk Limit Monitoring
- Ongoing monitoring of enterprise risk exposures to ensure they are in line with the approved authority, risk appetite and risk limits;
- Assist in regular or ad hoc review and report of enterprise risk appetite and limits;
- Assist in monitoring and reporting financial risk incident to management and parent company.
Risk Administrator
- Participate in risk system implementation and various projects on enterprise risk management;
- Prepare, coordinate and organize risk management committee or senior management meetings as required;
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and/ or regulatory projects as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Finance, Information Systems, or related field;
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in financial risk management or securities brokerage firms is an advantage;
- Good reporting, analytical and data management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Power Point, Word, Bloomberg;
- Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Quick BI, Copilot).
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
