Responsibilities
- Handle and monitor corporate action events for global market;
- Support and facilitate all aspects of processing mandatory and voluntary corporate action events;
- Work on internal system to perform corporate action tasks. This includes data comparison, verification and reconciliation;
- Perform morning shifts operations of settlement activities for global equities including trade matching and ensure all instructions are executed timely and efficiently;
- Liaise directly with front office, brokers, and custodians to resolve corporate action, trades and settlement issues;
- Escalate any issue to Team Manager's attention in timely manner;
- Participate in UAT for any new system enhancement and implementation;
- Assist in ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirement
- Degree or above;
- Responsible, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure;
- 2 - 3 years relevant Settlement experience in Finance or related disciplines;
- Familiar with SWIFT system;
- Excel Macro / VBA Knowledge is preferred;
- Excellent command of spoken English, Mandarin & Cantonese;
- Willing to work on public holidays, typhoon, black rainstorm and morning shifts at 6:30am.
