Background
  • Our client is a leading insurer undertaking an enhancements project for its CRM and agent-facing CRM tools.
Responsibilities
  • Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders (business units, users, etc.) to understand their needs and translate them into detailed project requirements. This involves active listening, asking probing questions, and documenting clear specifications.
  • Design Thinking: Apply the principles of Design Thinking, including empathy, ideation, prototyping, and testing. Use this approach to creatively solve complex problems, enhance user experiences, and drive innovation.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Base decisions on data analysis. Collect, interpret, and use relevant data to inform project planning, prioritize features, and optimize processes. For example, analyze user behavior data to improve website navigation.
  • Agile Methodologies: Manage projects using Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban. Break down work into smaller tasks (user stories), plan sprints, hold daily stand-ups, and adapt to changing requirements. Agile promotes flexibility and collaboration.
  • Digital Solutions: Oversee projects related to online platforms (websites, mobile apps). Ensure solutions align with user needs, enhance usability, and deliver value. Consider responsive design, accessibility, and seamless integration.
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Create comprehensive UAT test plans. UAT involves testing the system from an end-user perspective to verify functionality, identify defects, and ensure alignment with requirements before deployment.
  • Project Management: Track project timelines using tools like Gantt charts or project management software. Manage risks and regularly communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams (operations, legal, compliance, product, marketing, UI/UX) to align project goals, resolve dependencies, and ensure successful project outcomes. Effective communication and negotiation are essential.

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the financial sector, preferably in life insurance.
  • Proven track record as a Business Analyst or Project Manager in digital projects.
