Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced ECM Analyst to join our team. The key responsibilities for this role include fundamental analysis, internal communication and distribution with our investment teams, and arranging management meetings with issuers. The candidate would report to and work closely with the Head of ECM Asia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fundamental Analysis: Analyse company financials, build models, conduct valuation analysis, and review offering documents to evaluate ECM investment opportunities.
  • Internal Communication and Distribution: Act as the internal point of contact for all ECM transactions, ensure timely and accurate distribution of deal information, offering documents, and analysis to relevant investment teams.
  • Management Meetings: Arrange and host management meetings with issuers.
  • Risk Analysis: Assist in evaluating, pricing and managing risk.
  • Deal Coordination: Track and coordinate the firm's participation in IPOs, follow-ons and block trades. Maintain a detailed database on deal flow, demand and allocations.
  • Market Monitoring: Monitor ECM activity, lock-up schedules and market trends.
  • Relationship Management: Communicate regularly with investment banks to obtain relevant deal information and build long term and trusted partnerships.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (experience in Equity Capital Markets preferred).
  • Strong fundamental analysis, organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in managing information flow.
  • Interest in public equities and capital markets.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is preferred.
