Multi-asset Research (Senior)

Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth research on asset classes and funds within authorized scopes. This includes, but is not limited to: researching and developing signals and models for global asset class rotation, and selecting on-shore and off-shore funds based on investment requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct in-depth research on asset classes and funds within authorized scopes. This includes, but is not limited to: researching and developing signals and models for global asset class rotation, and selecting on-shore and off-shore funds based on investment requirements.
  2. Collaborate closely with research analysts to construct a centralized optimal portfolio based on their recommendations.
  3. Formulate investment strategies for various multi-asset portfolios. Regularly review and report on the implementation and performance of these strategies.
  4. Cooperate with the marketing team to participate in investment solution design,client communication, and roadshow presentations.
  5. Strictly adhere to relevant laws, regulations, product contracts, and company rules.Perform duties with prudence, compliance, and due diligence.
  6. Undertake other tasks as assigned to support team objectives.

Qualifications:

  1. Upright, humble, diligent with high moral values.
  2. Master's degree or above in Financial Engineering, or a combined background in STEM and Economics/Finance is preferred.
  3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantitative investment research at a globally renowned asset management institution, with at least 2 years of experience in fund research. Strong understanding of portfolio performance attribution and decomposition.
  4. Solid mathematical and statistical foundation with strong data mining capabilities;ability to apply statistical analysis to large datasets. Familiarity with machine learning or deep learning models is a plus.
  5. Proficient in Python or other programming tools, capable of efficiently translating research ideas into executable code.
  6. Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented, rigorous in logic, with the ability to quickly learn cutting-edge technologies. Strong passion for developing a career in the asset management industry.
  7. Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English.
