Position: AVP - Settlement

Responsibilities:

• Support in day-to-day process of various fixed income products such as bond, note, treasury, MBS etc.
• Perform trade processing and settlement functions, prepare settlement instruction under Clearing platform (Euroclear, CMU, Fedwire etc.).
• Record trades in relevant systems, following procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely monitoring and settlement of all trades transactions
• Liaise with internal and external counterparties for any settlement related issues and enquiries
• Help on ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with Minimum of 4 years+ experience in handling clearing and settlement preferable gained from securities or brokerage firms.
• Strong analytical mindset, self-motivated and detail oriented. Willing to cope with challenge and possess the flexibility to work under pressure
• Knowledge in OTC Derivatives and/or structured products is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• PC skills and proficiency in MS Office is a must, experience in streamline workflow with self-developed programming solution (Python, VBA, etc.) is a definite plus
• Good command in written and spoken English as well as Chinese.
• Solid experience in settlement system (i.e. CCASS, DCASS and Euroclear)
