Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Origination: Identify and capture new lending opportunities across key APAC markets, with a focus on North Asia and Australia.

  • Transaction Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of syndicated, club, and bilateral loan facilities.

  • Client Advisory: Act as a senior strategic partner to C-suite stakeholders, developing tailored pitch books and securing mandates for complex financing needs.

  • Portfolio Growth: Drive regional revenue and asset growth by aligning credit solutions with client capital structures and risk appetites.

  • Structuring & Documentation: Oversee the design of bespoke solutions (including sustainable and event-driven finance) and manage the negotiation of commercial terms, covenants, and legal documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 10+ years of proven success in corporate loan origination or structured finance within leading MNC corproate & investment bank.

  • Market Expertise: Deep knowledge of the APAC syndicated loan markets and a strong track record of executing transactions in Australia, Japan, Korea, or North Asia markets.

  • Technical Proficiency: Exceptional credit analysis skills and expertise in complex transaction structuring.

  • Leadership: Ability to manage multiple high-stakes deals simultaneously under tight deadlines.

  • Communication: Native or professional fluency in English. Fluency in a regional language (e.g., Japanese or Korean) is highly advantageous for navigating local markets.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications (CFA/MBA) preferred.
