Investment Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Research Analyst to join a single-family office. In this role, you will work closely with the principal to provide in-depth investment research, identify opportunities across various asset classes, and support the execution of investment strategies.

Salary: Negotiable

Responsibilities:

  1. Support and assist the principal in conducting investment research across various asset classes, including but not limited to ETFs, hedge funds (HF), private funds, foreign exchange (FX) & rates, and commodities.
  2. Provide well-researched investment recommendations and identify potential opportunities for the principal.
  3. Execute the principal's instructions by facilitating and placing order requests with external service providers, such as private banks.
  4. Monitor post-trade activities and current risk positions, ensuring timely feedback and updates are provided to the principal.
  5. Engage with investment service providers through meetings to stay informed about market trends and developments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment research or related fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Hong Kong Permanent Resident (HK PR).
  • Strong research, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for investment analysis is highly desirable.
