CLIENT BACKGROUND A leading private banking institution is seeking an experienced VP to strengthen its client onboarding and due diligence function. This role oversees end‑to‑end CDD/KYC reviews, leads complex onboarding approvals, and partners closely with Front Office across Asia on high‑risk cases.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
- Approve onboarding packages and enhanced due diligence for medium/high‑risk clients.
- Oversee periodic reviews, screening alerts, and ongoing monitoring.
- Review KYC maintenance and account change requests.
- Drive process optimisation, system enhancements, and UAT for AML/CFT tools.
- Act as a senior advisor to Front Office and key stakeholders.
- Provide reporting, governance support, and assist with audits.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Finance/Business or related area.
- 8+ years' experience in private banking onboarding, CDD, AML/KYC.
- Strong ability to assess complex client profiles and risk scenarios.
- Solid understanding of AML/CFT, tax due diligence, and SOW verification.
- Proven stakeholder management and process improvement experience.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
