Your new role
Leadership Training Strategy & Framework Design
  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of leadership training roadmaps covering emerging leaders, mid-level managers, and senior executives.
  • Build systematic, competency-based development frameworks aligned with organisational strategy.
  • Develop structured learning pathways for: New managers and transitioning leaders, Senior leadership capability development, High-potential and successor development, Role transition support for employees moving into new leadership or managerial roles
  • Ensure frameworks are future-ready, scalable, and benchmarked to global best practices.
Succession Planning & Talent Pipeline Development
  • Partner with HRBPs and senior leaders to link training frameworks to the bank's succession planning and leadership pipeline strategy.
  • Recommend development solutions for successors and high-potential talent.
  • Track progress and readiness for key roles through structured development plans.
Program Development & Delivery
  • Oversee the creation and refinement of leadership programs, including coaching, mentoring, executive workshops, and assessment-driven interventions.
  • Ensure program design supports roadmap execution and competency development objectives.
  • Support facilitation or partner management for key leadership programs as needed.
Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and HR stakeholders to diagnose capability needs and co-design leadership development solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, consultants, and academic partners.
Team Leadership
  • Lead a small team of L&D professionals responsible for program development and delivery.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and professional development.
Governance & Evaluation
  • Oversee budgeting, vendor governance, and L&D compliance requirements.
  • Implement robust evaluation methods to measure impact and ensure continuous improvement.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in HR, Organisational Psychology, or Business preferred.
  • 8-15+ years of experience in leadership development, L&D, or talent management within banking or large corporates.
  • Strong experience in designing training roadmaps, frameworks, and leadership development pathways (core requirement).
  • Expertise in role transition programs and succession-linked development.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner with executives.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills; proficiency in English & Chinese is required.
  • Experience leading small teams and managing cross-functional initiatives.
