Key Responsibilities
Investor Servicing & Operations Oversight
- Oversee end‑to‑end investor servicing processes, including subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, switch orders, account opening, and ongoing client maintenance. Handle escalated investor queries, providing prompt and high‑quality service to distributors, institutional clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Supervise multiple TA operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong control execution. Manage onboarding of new investors including KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, and suitability assessment (as applicable).
- Drive operational efficiency, automation, and digitalization initiatives. Participate in UAT, workflow redesign, and data/reporting improvements.
- Support new fund launches, system enhancements, and operational transformation projects.
Governance, Risk & Control
- Ensure compliance with SFC and relevant regulatory requirements across fund servicing activities.
- Enhance internal control frameworks, documentation, SOPs, and risk mitigation measures.
- Conduct regular reviews of service providers and ensure SLA adherence.
- Prepare management reports, investor analytics, and operational insights for internal committees.
- Assist with due‑diligence exercises with distributors, clients, regulators, and service partners.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related discipline (Computer science and data analytics related background are also welcomed).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in investor services, transfer agency, fund operations, or asset management operations.
- Strong knowledge of ETF, mutual funds, offshore funds (e.g., Cayman LP/LPF structures), regulatory requirements, and AML/KYC standards.
- Proven experience interacting with senior stakeholders and external service providers.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated leadership capability and a hands‑on, proactive working style.
- Experience within a reputable asset manager, fund administrator, or financial institution preferred.
Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior position.
