In this role, you will lead and manage security-related projects to protect client's retail operations, digital platforms, data assets, and customer information across the network of stores and online channels. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to implement security enhancements, compliance initiatives, and risk mitigation measures in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and close information security projects, including cybersecurity enhancements, data protection initiatives, access control implementations, incident response improvements, and compliance programs
Define project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverable while managing risks and issues.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders (IT, Operations, Legal, Business units) and external vendors/partners to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Track project progress, prepare status reports, and present updates to senior management.
Ensure security projects align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements in general information security.
Facilitate risk assessments and support the adoption of security controls in business processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3 years of proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in IT, security, or technology-related projects.
Solid understanding of general information security principles (e.g., confidentiality, integrity, availability, risk management, common threats, basic controls like access management, encryption, and vulnerability handling).
Fluency in English and Cantonese (spoken and written) is essential for effective communication with local teams, stakeholders, and vendors in Hong Kong.
Strong organisational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in retail, FMCG, or multi-site operations is a plus.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft Office.
