A Chinese Corporate Bank is looking for a Senior Manager to join their Corporate Loan Operations team.
Your new role
- Manage end‑to‑end bilateral and syndicated loan operations for corporate banking clients, including loan drawdown, rollover, prepayment/repayment, loan maintenance, booking, disbursement, fee collection, and syndication agency duties
- Provide loan administration and operational support for corporate banking transactions
- Set up credit and interest rates, and ensure credit limits are accurately established and maintained in the system
- Lead and manage UAT testing, workflow streamlining, and procedure development, including streamline processing, automation, and paperless operation initiatives.
- Prepare and operate Head Office and HKMA‑related industry reports, including audit confirmations and bank confirmations
- Support new team establishment, participate in interviews, and manage annual performance appraisals for subordinates
- Perform AML checks for daily transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Review, update, and rewrite procedural manuals; prepare Head Office reporting packages
- Provide coaching, on‑the‑job training, and performance evaluation feedback for team members
What you'll need to succeed
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance or related disciplines
- Minimum 10 years' experience in Corporate Loan Operations, people manager and checker role's exposure are an advantage
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Familiar with bilateral and syndicated loan products
