Key responsibilities Project & Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact between IT teams and stakeholders throughout project cycles to streamline finance workflows and drive process improvements.
- Understand and consolidate user requirements across multiple stakeholders for finance-related initiatives.
- Collaborate with business and IT teams to define feasible solutions and support senior stakeholders in informed decision-making through option evaluations, prioritisation, cost-benefit analyses, and timeline planning.
- Provide proactive project status updates, assess risks, escalate issues where necessary, and propose mitigation strategies or alternative solutions to project managers.
Documentation and Analysis
- Prepare accurate and concise meeting minutes, highlighting key discussion points, follow-up actions, and deadlines.
- Conduct data analysis and mapping in collaboration with finance teams.
- Develop workflow diagrams using Visio or draw.io to support system and process design.
- Prepare clear and compelling presentation materials for management and project stakeholders.
Testing and Implementation
- Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring solutions meet business requirements and adhere to quality standards.
Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Business Administration, or Information Systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Business Analysis and/or Project Management, ideally within the banking or insurance sectors.
Skills & Competencies
- Highly proactive with strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working independently and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with IT, operations, and business units.
- Solid project management capability with strong analytical and time management skills.
- Team-oriented with maturity and a professional approach.
- Experience working with large datasets and performing financial analysis.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
Technical Skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Visio.
- Knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Alteryx, Power BI, Hyperion, or AS400 is an advantage.
