Our client, a leading investment management organization, is seeking a Fund / Portfolio Accounting Associate to join their Hong Kong office. The Role
- Accurately input and verify investment portfolio details in the accounting system and database based on quarterly/annual financial statements of investment funds, including valuations and net asset value calculations.
- Assist the investment team in preparing reports and analyses related to the investment portfolio.
- Track and manage expenses incurred by the Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing offices.
- Prepare payment vouchers, accounts receivable invoices, aging reports, and other ad hoc management reports for review by the Senior Finance Manager.
- Maintain books and records for the Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing offices.
- Conduct cash management activities and perform bank reconciliations across the three offices.
- Coordinate and manage audits and tax preparation for the Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Beijing offices.
- Support ad hoc projects, including system updates and enhancements.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in accounting or audit, with hands-on exposure to bookkeeping, month-end closing, and audit preparation.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel.
- Fluent in spoken English and Mandarin.
- Responsible, independent, and capable of working under pressure. A proactive and team-oriented mindset is essential.
- Willingness to take on new tasks, learn proactively, and work diligently.
- Knowledge of fund accounting, PRC accounting, and taxation is an advantage.
