We are seeking a highly experienced and driven professional to lead our Private Credit division. The Director/ED will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and managing private credit investments across various sectors and geographies. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in private credit, excellent relationship management skills, and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Investment Strategy: Develop and execute the investment strategy for private credit, focusing on high-quality opportunities that align with the firm's objectives.
  2. Deal Sourcing & Execution: Identify, source, negotiate, and close private credit transactions, ensuring alignment with risk-return profiles.
  3. Portfolio Management: Oversee the performance of the private credit portfolio, implementing strategies to maximize returns while managing risk.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of investment professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  5. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, sponsors, and financial intermediaries.
  6. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the private credit landscape.
  7. Investment Committee: Prepare and present investment proposals to the Investment Committee, ensuring comprehensive analysis and due diligence are conducted.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.
  2. 10+ years of experience in private credit, private equity, or a related investment field.
  3. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with a deep understanding of credit risk assessment.
  4. Proven track record of successfully originating and executing private credit transactions.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
  6. Strategic mindset with a strong grasp of market dynamics and investment trends.
