One of our clients, an MNC financial services organisation is seeking an experienced professional to drive operational transformation across multiple asset classes. This is a hands‑on role partnering closely with Operations, Technology, and Business stakeholders to improve processes, manage risk, and support new product initiatives as Associate Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead process transformation initiatives by challenging existing workflows and aligning them with industry best practices
- Identify operational risk and efficiency gaps, proposing and driving practical, value‑adding solutions
- Establish and maintain standardised workflow artefacts across business units and products
- Support New Product Approval processes in partnership with Operations and business stakeholders
- Author operational business requirements and translate them into clear inputs for Technology teams
- Partner with Technology to ensure effective transition from operational requirements to technical solutions
- Manage end‑to‑end project delivery including planning, tracking, governance, stakeholder management, and escalation
- Secure buy‑in and approvals for process improvements from senior Operations leadership
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience within financial markets operations, with cross‑asset exposure
- Proven track record in operations change, process improvement, or transformation
- Strong understanding of Equity Derivatives and FICC products
- Confident stakeholder manager with excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience driving operational efficiency and automation (e.g. AI, Power Automate, Python, advanced MS tools)
- Strong programme / project management capability; control‑focused and risk‑aware
- Able to manage multiple initiatives independently in a fast‑paced environment
- Fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin language skills
