AI Architect - Leading Insurance Group - J12658

Our client, a leading global insurer, is looking for a visionary AI Architect to serve as the local "founding person" of their AI framework. This is a high-visibility, Director-level role designed for someone who can bridge the gap between high-level regional strategy and local technical execution.

What Youll Do

1. Architect the AI Roadmap : Own the end-to-end AI technology strategy for Hong Kong, ensuring local initiatives align with global regional standards.
2. Design & Model (50/50 Split): Pivot seamlessly between high-level Enterprise Architecture (frameworks/governance) and hands-on Solution Architecture (modeling/component design).
3. Set the "Golden Standards": Since you are building from scratch, you will define the blueprints and "standards" that all local AI engineering teams must follow.
4. Bridge the Gap: Act as the technical liaison between the Regional / Global Technology and local Engineering. You will review engineering proposals to ensure they match the master architecture.
5. Infrastructure Lead: Design and provision AI models primarily within an AWS ecosystem , ensuring scalability and performance.

What You Bring

1. The "Pivot" Pedigree: A deep-rooted background in Application Development or Data Architecture with a successful transition into AI/ML.
2. Sector Expertise: Strong experience within a high-governanceInsurance or Banking environment.
3. Architectural Rigor: Solid understanding of governance processes; TOGAF certification or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
4. Cloud Fluency: Extensive experience in AWS (SA certification is a plus). Exposure to AliCloud is an advantage for regional integration.
5. The Diplomat: High learning agility with the ability to "speak to the standard"—influencing engineering teams while managing senior regional stakeholders.
6. Languages: Fluent in English, with Cantonese or Mandarin preferred to navigate local and cross-border integrations.
