As part of their strategic growth, they are expanding their Data Management and Analytics team and are seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Business Analyst to lead logistics data projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead digital innovation by identifying opportunities to introduce intelligent products and data-driven solutions that transform business operations.
- Perform deep-dive data analysis to uncover trends, highlight opportunities, and recommend forward-thinking product enhancements.
- Assess current systems and workflows, analyze user requirements, and prioritize improvements to maximize efficiency.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements, resolve ambiguities, and ensure alignment across teams.
- Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, vendors, and business units to refine specifications for data-centric projects.
- Support end-users through user acceptance testing, training sessions, and timely assistance to ensure smooth adoption of solutions.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience; exposure to freight forwarding or logistics is advantageous but not essential.
- Strong capability in business process modelling and requirements gathering, with proven ability to translate needs into actionable solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and deliver clear, concise support to end-users.
- Skilled in mapping current and future state processes and conducting gap analyses to drive continuous improvement.
- Solid understanding of business processes, technical systems, and software development methodologies.
- Experience managing external vendors and internal teams throughout the product lifecycle.
