Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Cloud Services Engineer to join Cloud Platform Services team. Our team responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solution, we also work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
Job Duties: Key Responsibilities: - Maintain platform stability and high availability by defining and monitoring key observability metrics across all cloud environments.
- Lead incident response efforts and conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to implement long-term preventative measures.
- Develop and govern a library of modular Terraform modules to ensure all deployments are standardized and reproducible.
- Identifying and reducing manual toil by building automation scripts and exploring intelligent tooling for repetitive operational tasks.
- Build and manage comprehensive observability stacks, including monitoring and logging, to provide deep visibility into system health.
- Enforce security standards such as CIS Benchmarks through the implementation of automated guardrails.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs by using predictive insights to scale infrastructure based on real-time demand.
Requirements: - At least 4 years in AWS, Azure, GCP or China Brand Private Cloud, professional experience in SRE or DevOps roles managing high-availability production environments.
- Expert-level proficiency in Terraform for managing large-scale infrastructure as code.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for developing robust automation tools.
- Extensive hands-on experience with observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of cloud networking and security, including VPC design and CIS compliance standards.
- Familiar with modern automation trends, such as using AI-driven data analytics, reporting and anomaly detection to enhance incident triage.
- Proven ability to solve complex problems in distributed systems while working under high-pressure situations.
