A well-known foreign securities firm is looking for an AVP to join their settlement team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in fixed income settlement and a strong knowledge of trade processing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily operations, including executing trade entry, verification, and confirmation of fixed-income products
- Execute trade processing and prepare settlement instructions using clearing platforms
- Follow up with counter-parties on any pending unsigned confirmations as necessary
- Communicate with both internal and external parties regarding any issues or inquiries related to settlement
- Document trades in appropriate systems while adhering to established procedures.
- Ensure timely and precise monitoring and settlement of all trade transactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clearing and settlement, within securities or brokerage firms preferred
- Experience with settlement systems such as CCASS, DCASS, and Euroclear.
- Familiarity with OTC derivatives and/or structured products is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
