The Senior IT Infrastructure Manager will oversee the company's core IT infrastructure, cybersecurity operations, and hybrid cloud environment. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for ensuring stability, security, and regulatory compliance within a financial services setting. The successful candidate will manage day‑to‑day operations, drive infrastructure improvements, and support the Head of IT on strategic and ad‑hoc initiatives.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Infrastructure & Systems Administration
- Perform administration and maintenance of vSphere, Microsoft Entra, and ESXi environments.
- Manage the company's hybrid cloud infrastructure (on‑prem + cloud).
- Oversee server infrastructure including domain controllers, certificate authority, and core Windows services.
- Manage Exchange on‑premises, Exchange Online, and Enterprise Vault.
- Support and maintain Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop and Microsoft Teams infrastructure.
- Oversee internet services, corporate telephone systems, mobile devices, and domain registrations.
Cybersecurity & Network Operations
- Coordinate closely with the Security Operations Centre (SOC) for cybersecurity monitoring and incident follow‑up.
- Oversee cybersecurity and network-related operations, including firewall management and endpoint protection.
- Conduct or supervise network monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing activities.
- Manage and work with technologies such as Darktrace, CyberArk, KnowBe4, SentinelOne, Desktop Central, and PRTG (preferred).
- Manage enterprise networking infrastructure including Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Wi-Fi technologies.
IT Support & Daily Operations
- Provide oversight for deskside support and hands-on backend technical support when required.
- Perform daily backup and restore checks, with mandatory expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Administer server room operations, ensuring fire safety, water leakage protection, and electrical integrity.
- Manage corporate printing, faxing, and scanning services.
- Provide and manage voice recording systems for traders and licensed personnel.
- Contribute to Business Continuity Planning (BCP), testing, and documentation.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure IT operations and security controls meet SFC regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Support the Head of IT on compliance-driven enhancements and technology transformation initiatives.
- Assist with ad‑hoc IT projects and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Skills for the Role:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security operations.
- Experience in financial services or a highly regulated environment is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Relevant certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, CISA, PMP, VMware, Microsoft Azure, CCNP, MCSE.
- Strong knowledge in Cisco networking, enterprise Wi-Fi, Palo Alto, and Fortinet firewalls.
- Expertise in Azure Cloud environments (required).
- Solid hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication (required).
- Familiarity with Darktrace, CyberArk, KnowBe4, SentinelOne, Desktop Central, and PRTG is advantageous.
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Bloomberg systems is a plus.
