Seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive high‑impact digital and AI initiatives that transform operations and deliver measurable business value, and lead end‑to‑end programme, from business case development and vendor selection to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives from business case through mobilization to deployment, providing hands-on project management and vendor coordination.
- Partner with sponsors and stakeholders to prepare business cases, secure approvals and present program updates (progress, financials, risks/issues) to senior forums (Steering Committee, PMO).
- Manage project financials, forecasts and change control to keep delivery on time and within budget.
- Coordinate vendor sourcing, oversee vendor/offshore teams and ensure technical clearances prior to production.
- Identify cross-project dependencies and risks, own mitigation plans, and drive timely issue resolution.
- Oversee change management and ensure deliverables meet business expectations and regulatory/technology risk requirements.
- Coach and lead project teams, foster cross‑functional collaboration and uplift organisational capability in digital and AI delivery.
People & Stakeholder Management
- Manage and coach project team members, including outsourced resources; facilitate cross-team collaboration and capability uplift.
- Maintain strong relationships with Business, IT, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Finance; engage with external vendors to negotiate SOWs and monitor performance.
- Drive stakeholder alignment on AI ethics, explainability, performance SLAs and operational controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, STEM or related field.
- 8-10 years' experience in project/program management or consulting, preferably in financial services/insurance.
- Proven track record delivering complex, multi‑stakeholder digital, or AI/ML transformations.
- Strong business acumen, stakeholder management, vendor negotiation and people leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and excellent problem‑solving and communication abilities.
