UAT role with leading insurer firm
Your new company is a leading international life and health insurer in Hong Kong, offering protection, savings and investment solutions supported by a strong financial heritage and an extensive distribution network.
Key Requirements: Technical Expertise - Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Financials, especially general ledger and finance‑related modules.
- Proven System Integration Testing (SIT) capability, including test script creation, execution, issue tracking, and defect resolution.
- Understanding of general ledger migration, including data mapping, validation, and reconciliation processes.
- Knowledge of payment operations, fund trade workflows, and settlement processes (for Finance Operations roles).
- Exposure to investment accounting is advantageous.
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working across multiple finance and operational systems.
Process & Project Capability - Strong project coordination experience within finance, system migration, or operational transformation environments.
- Ability to support end‑to‑end testing cycles, manage timelines, and escalate risks effectively.
- Competence in business and system analysis, including requirements documentation, workflow assessment, and issue analysis.
- Familiarity with internal controls, audit expectations, and operational risk management.
- Skilled in working with SMEs, end users, and cross‑functional project teams, including decentralised or multi‑market stakeholders.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Professional finance qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CFA Level I are advantageous but not essential.
- Prior experience in finance operations, system testing, ledger migrations, or fund operations is beneficial depending on the specific role.
