A well-established bank is looking for AVP - VP to join their Equities Derivatives Trade Support team.
Your new role
- Validate and confirm daily trade capture, booking, matching, confirmation, and validation of Equities Derivatives, including options, futures, swaps, and exotic products in trading systems.
- Monitor trade flow from execution to settlement, ensuring accuracy in booking and reporting
- Responsible for leading and managing the client-facing operational support functions across the trade lifecycle for complex financial products, such as Equity Derivatives, Structured Products, and OTCs.
- Resolve trade breaks, unmatched trades, and discrepancies with brokers, custodians, and clearing houses
- Liaise with prime brokers, custodians, and counterparties; promptly investigate and resolve any trade discrepancies or settlement issues
- Perform cash and stock reconciliations, investigating and resolving differences promptly
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, market regulations, and operational risk standards
- Escalate settlement issues, failed trades, and potential risks to management
- Participate in system UAT, workflow enhancements, and automation initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in Equities Derivatives operations, trade support, or settlement
- Client servicing and client-facing experience are MUST.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
