Job Description As a Fundraising Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Develop and execute fundraising strategies for commodities-related funds.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential investors and stakeholders.
- Leverage existing resources and client networks to enhance fundraising efforts.
- Prepare and present compelling investment proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with partners in a cooperative model, with a profit-sharing approach.
- Monitor market trends and conduct research to identify new investment opportunities.
- Ensure alignment of fundraising initiatives with organizational goals.
- Broaden the company's financing models, solutions, and channels. Manage and maintain relationships with banks, non-bank financial institutions, and investors.
- Cultivate relationships with investment funds, family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and other investors.
The Successful Applicant A successful Fundraising Manager should have:
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in finance, investment, economics, investment management, or a related field.
- At least 8-10 years related experience in financial services or related industry.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and strong networking skills
- A proven track record of achieving fundraising targets, particularly in the commodities sector.
- Strong network and connections with family office and high net high-net-worth individuals.
- Relevant experience in precious metals or commodities business is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a partnership-oriented environment (profit-sharing model).
- Proven ability to lead and work with client-facing teams and directly with investors
- Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
- Proficient in MS Office Applications.
