Job Description

As a Capital Markets Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

1. Leveraged and Acquisition Finance
• Partner with deal teams to determine the best debt financing strategies for buyout and growth transactions.
• Conduct commercial and financial due diligence for lenders.
• Negotiate and formalize financing terms with legal counsel.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with lending institutions.

2. M&A / Liquidity Management
• Collaborate with teams to enhance capital structures.
• Provide guidance on dividend recapitalizations, refinancings, spin-offs, and restructurings to improve Fund DPI and IRR.
• Oversee exit processes, effectively managing service providers.

3. ECM (Equity Capital Markets)
• Work alongside deal teams to establish offer structures and allocations for IPOs and follow-on offerings.
• Track positions and strategies for sell-downs and equity-linked transactions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Capital Markets Analyst should have:
• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking (IB) or private equity (PE), preferably with a background in leveraged finance and M&A.
• Strong skills in financial modeling and analysis.
• Quick learner who is adaptable and self-motivated.
• Degree from a recognized university.
• Native or near-native fluency in both Chinese (Putonghua) and English.
