Job Description
  • Lead Credit Investment Analysis - Conduct in-depth due diligence and financial modeling for private and public credit opportunities.
  • Originate and Structure Deals - Source, evaluate, and structure credit investments across sectors and geographies.
  • Portfolio Management - Monitor performance of existing investments, including covenant compliance and risk assessments.
  • Market Research - Analyze macroeconomic trends, sector dynamics, and credit markets to inform investment strategy.
  • Investment Committee Preparation - Draft and present investment memos and recommendations to the investment committee.
  • Legal & Documentation Oversight - Coordinate with legal teams on term sheets, credit agreements, and closing documentation.
  • Stakeholder Communication - Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including borrowers, advisors, and co-investors.
  • Fund Performance Reporting - Assist in preparing quarterly reports, valuations, and investor updates.
  • Compliance & Risk Management - Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks.
The Successful Applicant

  1. Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
  2. Experience - 7-10 years in credit investing, investment banking, or private debt, ideally within an alternative asset manager.
  3. Technical Skills - Advanced financial modeling, credit analysis, and valuation skills.
  4. Deal Experience - Proven track record in originating and executing private or public credit transactions.
  5. Analytical Thinking - Strong ability to synthesize complex data and identify key investment drivers.
  6. Communication - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for presenting to senior stakeholders.
  7. Leadership - Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects.
  8. Market Knowledge - Deep understanding of credit markets, instruments, and regulatory landscape.
  9. Attention to Detail - High level of accuracy and thoroughness in analysis and documentation.
  10. Adaptability - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
