About Our Client We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our PE Client in Hong Kong. This role requires expertise in accounting and finance.
Job Description As a Fund Accountant, your main responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and reports for the fund.
- Managing fund accounting processes, including reconciliations and audits.
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and investor reports.
- Collaborating with internal teams to support financial planning and analysis.
- Monitoring fund performance and ensuring accurate valuation of assets.
- Responding to investor inquiries and providing financial data as needed.
- Supporting the implementation of new accounting systems and processes.
The Successful Applicant A successful Fund Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience in fund accounting, preferably within the private equity business is a must
- 1-2 years of experience is a must
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
