Job Description - Develop clean, scalable, and well-tested Java applications.
- Convert business requirements into reliable and high-performance system solutions.
- Produce clear system documentation with appropriate test coverage.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables.
- Support system enhancement, debugging, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Participate in agile workflows using JIRA for task tracking and sprint activities.
The Successful Applicant - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in system development and application support.
- Strong hands-on skills in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
- Understanding of microservices, database design, high-availability setups, CI/CD, and Git.
- Prior involvement in agile development environments.
- Comfortable working with offshore development teams.
- Proficient in both Cantonese and English.
- Banking background with exposure to SWIFT MX migration and CHATS preferred.
