About Our Client The hiring company is a well-known Crypto and Web 3 company.
Job Description Key Responsibilities
1) Investment & Financial Due Diligence
- Perform detailed financial assessments on prospective investments, analyzing P&L, balance sheet strength, cash flow trends, and relevant KPIs.
- Supportend-to-endFDD activities, including:
- Assessing potential exposures such as contingent liabilities, disputes, and operational vulnerabilities.
- Designing customized due-diligence questionnaires and managing follow-up information requests.
- Contributing to investment papers with clear insights on financial risks and observations.
- Assist with post-transaction monitoring, including performance tracking, earn-out and unlock schedules, and token-related movements.
2) Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Handle day-to-day accounting responsibilities for multiple entities within the group structure (SPVs, holding companies).
- Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and maintain accurate ledgers in the accounting system.
- Support period-end processes, including quarterly closes, management reporting, and investor deliverables.
- Monitor token and fiat transactions and track realized vs. unrealized gains.
- Coordinate with external auditors and accounting firms across various jurisdictions.
3) Finance Operations & Internal Controls
- Oversee payment processing, invoice handling, and the movement of funds across entities.
- Contribute to process automation and strengthen controls related to cash and token management across the group.
- Uphold documentation standards and maintain approval and workflow processes.
- Monitor treasury activities such as service-provider expenses, intercompany flows, and entity-level operating reserves.
The Successful Applicant A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A strong academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
- Big 4 Audit/Deal Advisory/TS or FDD Team
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in the financial services industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
